i just finished a southwest indian inspired wedding set for a very nice couple who was very happy with it,  it was white gold,  and they wanted to use their diamonds and needed some turquise inlays in the rings.  it came out very nice and they were very pleased.  The delivery of a custom piece of jewelry is one of my favorite parts of day.   to see thier reactions and to watch them look at it while it is on is the best!  They came in with a design in miind and working with them to arrive at the final product is always a blessing that I am thankful for everyday. 

 

 Here it is in the beginning of June,  one of our slower months;   I got a call yesterday from a former Friedmans empoyee wondering if i still had any of there repairs.  I have not recived the $1000.00 they owe, if I still had some merchandise I might have some collateral; but, I dont and wont get paid either! The US DA's office received like $100,000,000  from Friedman's and me like many other independant jewelry stores and jewelers across the nation got shafted out of  hundred to thousands of dollars each.  Now how is that fair.  Where is the justice!
